The “Substance” is a good choice for the original screenplay award. I hope it will get to win because it has all the elements that should make it happen as far as I am concerned.

I’m wondering what the criteria is for judging the best. Some people in the US have criticized these sorts of awards, because they claim people are just getting awarded in a DEI fashion. Anyway, myself, I can’t deny at least some instances of it. It just seems like something fishy is going on. Who agrees with me?
